All three are the same species...remember those cute little semi-freshwater bumblebee groupers you see on here? That's the adult, Epinephelus lanceolatus, the Giant Grouper.

yeah he's right, bumble bee's lose there very attrative colors when they get larger and into adult sizes. i believe they max out at 9'ish, and by then there fugly compared to juvi's. i also love all of the posts saying, "it's a big fish duh" and all those dumbass reply's.

I would say they are Goliath Groupers for sure. As for the color variants, Groupers are well known for there chameleon abilities.
