Nah, I can tell my carpintis will get to a foot and I've had cyonguttatus max at 10".

I wouldn't buy them, they're probably hybrids...

What makes you think that they're probably hybrids? Not trying to sound pissed (because with everything else in this forum we don't need a misunderstanding) just wondering.

i heard that tex get to 12" and carpintis get to 10" btu ive seen loadsa 12" carpintis, how can u tell if pure breed??

You can only tell when they're around 5", the only way to tell is to look at it and compare it to a picture.
Most lfs will sell hybrids. I got my escondido's from breeders to ensure they are pure.

Oh. I didn't even think of them being hybrids. Do you know any online breeders that have pure Cyanoguttatus?

I get them from Jeff Rapps. You can get pure carpinte fry from me. Other than that, I don't really know.
