My understanding is that the grow to similar sizes - 30" or so captive, and up to 36"ish in the wild.

I don't know about the Pinima, but Tems grow very fast.

pinima are more expensive. They both get bigger then other pbass. they both have different patterns when they get to the adult stage

Does anyone have any pictures of adult pinima's? The only images I can find make them bland looking with very little color. Maybe it's their cameras? I'm debating whether to get a pinima as well.

pinima = more expenisive gets big
tem= common gets huge

imo pinima be better.

like said before...both are about the same in terms of size and growth.
pattern is different as they grow.
