Temensis Coloring

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i think its not with age...
now we have so many farmies.
the variations are endless....
i have seen 6 inchers without any form of spotting.
ive seen 2 inchers develop nice spottings.
mine developed spotting at 3".
but they would fade alot.
IF they are in fact temensis, then all you have to do is wait.
it wont take long.

I have 12 Tems from different batches and they all have spots and stripes already and they are all under 7inches.
I recently posted pics of my 2 smallest Cichla to be IDed because I don't think they're Tems at all. The LFS owner who I bought them from and other Tems swears they are Tems and to be patient but I am not so sure. He claims they will develop spots and strips at 4-5inches.
Here a pic.
1st pic ?? I think Ocellaris
2nd Temensis
