i just got a tem at around 4-5 inches and hes starting to get the spots
and already has reds in his tail

I agree mate but he swears that they are Tems and to just give it time.
Anyway I need him more than he needs me especially for hard to get fish so hopefully they grow into some beauties.
As for bussiness, I am not buying my 500g from him now so he has missed out on that sale.
