Thats EXACTLY what I have been doing on my 90G bare tank, growing out my first PBASS ever, have 6 babies in there, and there growing like monsters, gonna post some pics soon. I swear it's the water changes that effect the growth more then the food rates. I do the water change at 9am, when I come home from work at 10pm, they actually look bigger.

Exactly what I'm saying. I don't change water everyday on my display tanks because I have drip loops set up on them. I'm thinking about doing a drip system on all my grow outs and have them connected

Thats pretty cool that they have gold spangles. I have only seen the whitish color before. Looking good ;)
