Temensis in a 300g

me personally? i would get him in a second.
Even in socal, big adult colored temensis are very hard to come by. been looking for a while :/
It will do better with the slightly larger tank, but i would shuffle out anything that might be seen as a snack to another tank personally.
i dont reccomend outdoor for the pbass, even in florida (about the most stable temp in con-us) all the temensis died off shortly after stocking, a study in texas decided they wouldnt handle less than 75 or so (working from mempry here, could be off) when they were discussing the possiblity of stocking them i. a power plant resivoir.

I've had adult tems in outdoor pond and temp was down to 65, I wouldn't try lower though. The water temp would have to be in the early 80s first and temp would have to be gradually going down over a period of time for them to survive.
Well long story short, I turned it down. I don't have the space or money for a tank bigger than what I have, and I can't put it in my pond even though I live in phoenix because i've been dealing with an outbreak of soap/detergent in the pond. and I'm not going to risk this beaut in there. It might be okay in my 300, but would still need a bigger tank. So while taking it would be slightly better, I'd rather it go to someone with a much bigger tank OR after speaking with the owner, he's looking at getting a 550+ custom built, so he might just hold on to it.
Plus the wife gave me a huge speach about willing to spend $150 on a fish but not willing to spend $100 on a doggy door for our sliding glass patio door. it's not worth that argument. happy wife = happy life

Like...staple conversation with my girlfriend. Funny thing is: I gave her my 180g tank after upgrading to a 300. She probably thinks I'm going to maintain it for her. HAHAHA. Oh, this is going to be rich.
