I have 3 temensis about 2 inches coming into my LFS special order tomorrow!!!!! :headbang2 any advice on keeping baby tems? This is my first real experience with peacocks

I will get some pictures as soon as they get settled in:grinyes:

i put mine in their own tank and fed the baby guppies and pellets. they did well. once theyt were a fair size i put them in a larger tank and and they have flourished

Keep the temp high, keep an eye out for ich. They get it very easy.

If they only eat feeders then leave them be, they are too young and small to start starving yet. If they take prepared feed BW, beefheart and krill.

pbass like the temp to be a little warmer, i keep mine at about 82

agree with steve... but i would order more... nice to have alot of them.. i would get like 10-20

i got 12 for my brothers tank to grow out in... look good together at that size

temp is around 87 I already have aquarium salt added as a precaution but only about 1 Tablespoon per 10 gallons. I was going to get more but decided to do some mono's with them instead.

I was thinkin
3 tems
2 monos
rhino pleco
3 clown loaches
12 giant danios

should be a very active grow out tank :D then when they hit a good size I will either purchase a 240 or sell them ;)

Should work for the time being.
