I have no knowledge of Peacock Bass...are these guys Temensis? First Pbass I've seen with my own eyes, pretty stunning to me, how much would you pay for them?

I am gonna go out on a limb and say yes they are tems. just remember they will get 17 inches in a year if taken care of. I had mine 2.5 years and he is 30".

Yes a tem I would pay up to e$200 for the pair

They're in a pretty small divided tank at the LFS I was at, looks pretty cramped. I know this LFS and they had to have been trade-ins, they do what they can, but need to make sure I can house these guys...
I'm in the process of moving all my tanks to my basement and adding a couple, what size is comfortable enough for 2 Temensis?

no smaller than 400g...preferably bigger. Tems grow the fastest and get the biggest outta all the cichla.

You can get a 180 of 220 for now. You will need a bigger tank in about two years

I got my tem from Rapps at 1.5in back at the end of June and he is 12-13inches now. the three orinos I got at the same time at the same size are only 10inches. He didnt start his growth spurt until he realized he wasnt getting fed anything but pellets. At which point he went from the smallest Pbass I owned to bigger then a MONO I bought in May at 8inches already. It was an impressive month of growth.
