I have mine at 25 °C (=77 °F)

My plants like it best, the pirayas are still hungry enough to feed 2x/day, but not so aggressive to attack each other (overly)

Heiko Bleher reported from the Sao Francisco river (home of pirayas) the following temperatures

• Summer
  23.5 - 28.5 °C (=74.3 - 83.3 °F)
• Winter
  15 - 19 °C. (=59.0 - 66.2 °F)

This also shows how resilient tropical fish can be to lower temps, but I wouldn't ever try that out in a home aquarium.
