how do you lower the temp? as of right now my tank water is about 88F. i tryed change the water but it gose right back up after a while. it about 103F now here in northen CA.

I have seen people freeze soda bottles with water and float them in the tank.... Chillers are quite spendy, but may be an option..

Open your lid and run a fan across the water surface. Youll have to top off more frequently.

Daily water changes seems a little ridiculous, but the two aforementioned ideas are good ones.

Cool the room with the tank in it with either your air conditioner or something? Realistically if the room is hotter then you want the tank to be or if the tank is outdoors your going to need a chiller. It's only June..the Beginning of summer!

You didn't mention what size tank this is or what type fish you have in it.
All the ideas mention would give some relief
