Temperament between Parachromis loisellei vs Cuban cichlid

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have juvenile parachromis loisellei, breidohri, argentea, bocourti at the moment... possibly planning on add smaller Cuban cichlid.. Still debating ??
My worry would be more about the vieja you have. Argentae and breidohri are pretty mean and get huge. That mix sounds unlikely to work out long-term to me in anything smaller than about a 300 gallon tank. Might have luck in the short term. If you do have atank that large, I would say go ahead and add the Cuban, likely won't pose a threat to the other fish and will stay a good bit smaller. The males only get to about 10" give or take.

The plan is 350 gallon 8ft x "Lx36"Wx24"H

That sounds about right! Just be aware even in a large tank, sometimes the big boys don't play nice! I have seen 300 gallons with a dominant cichlid which still won't accept tankmates. In the wild they defend larger areas than we can offer in our tanks.
I do think that's a great size to attempt a CA cichlid community though (just about the hardest FW setup to pull off stocking-wise IMO). I would say go ahead and add the Cuban, he won't throw a wrench in the stock you've got. Just keep an eye on those Viejas and be prepared to adjust stock as things go wrong. A CA community is a balancing act and usually it's impossible to predict who will and won't cause problems.
