I have stingrays too and I was wondering how I would get them out when they were larger, if I had to. Their tank has a footprint of 6' x 3', I might need an indoor pond in the future.

I'm a little afraid of the stinger and of over stressing the rays. How did you remove your rays? Did you direct them into a plastic bag in the tank?

I need to answer a few questions. I want to try to answer them with out being sassy.

I made her get into a five gallon bucket, and she did not like it very much. she is about 22 inches from head to tail.

she grew out of her tank pretty fast and realistically I should have had her into a pond a year ago. I guess I am a bad person. Seriously, I am being honest.

the floor can handle the weight. and under the pond is a extra liner

you did a great job

A bucket...good idea! I was worried about trying to get mine out some day if I had to. Nice pond by the way.

she is loving it. I added about 30 danios and she chases them around a bit. they are much too fast for her to catch. I started feeding her some super worms and while she eats them the danios clean up anything that falls out of her mouth. it is quite something to see. She got fussy and wont eat her pellets anymore so now that the worms are gone I need to starve her a little

I wrote my differential equations final today, so I just have Chemistry tomorrow and physics on Saturday. and then I can start working on her new pond in the basement. I have it all planned out, but it will take me about 3 or 4 months to build... I will have a lot of pictures through out the summer for everyone

Sounds cool and the current pond looks good as well. Good luck!
