:D you had me worried then zoodiver lol, i'm planning on setting up a 4'x2'x18" tank volume i believe around 70 gal in my shed, mainly to run for a year a test the temp fluctuations, the shed is out of direct sunlight and stay pretty cool, just need to know if my chiller will be man enough , planning to stock just dogfish and bullhuss to start with as i can collect these as egg cases the doggies are only 8cm or so when the hatch ...CUTE! lol planning to look at upgrading to a pond with window in the region of 6x4x3, anyone have any advice on tailoring filtration with sharks in mind? going to be running a sump, oversized skimmer and possibly algae scrubber

Get a koi pond filter. Go pro your collecting trip. You should also try to shine a light on the eggs and find one that might have a cool mutations such as albino.

Go for it! I h an a uk fish keeper and have often dreamt of keeping a native tank. Smoothounds with bream or bass would make a great tank.

If you can get there, the aquarium in North Quensferry have a huuuuge coldwater shark tank (millions of gallons I believe) which have a mix of sharks - the coldwater uk ones (as well as sand tigers, blonde rays, eels, lobsters etc) and they might be able to help in some way... plus it's a cool place to visit :p
