Besides Ranco, are there any other trustworthy brands of temperature controllers out there? I need one for a heater.

Here is the DIY version that Joey built a few weeks ago. Pretty cheap and appears to be quite reliable.

I think it's good for 1000W.

I guess that's not too bad then, I run 900 watts on my Ranco with no issues

Do you know how reliable and accurate the Inkbird unit is? That is what I will be using on my 220 setup but if it doesn't work well enough then I will be trying Joey's version.

Sorry I'm not much help there. I looked into the ink bird units, but ended up using finnex instead.
