Tempered Glass Suggestions????

Garf.org can help ease your mind. My 21 inch high tank is only 1/4 float glass. tempered is much stronger. can't imagine it being an issue.

I like the theory of your design.

You say that like 4' wide tanks are the norm!

I like the idea of a 12' long tank, and I like the idea of three windows on the front and one on each end.

EDIT: I don't think 26" deep is a problem either.
 
Issack, they are saying 26 inches deep (the size of the glass) and 4 feet front to back.

just remeber with tempered glass if anything like a rock hits it it could shatter into a million peices

did you look at those pics i sent you yet?

if you want shop drawings than you need to decide how you are going to hold the water in and if you want it to be modular.
Are you certain its going in the garage? Not worried about nicole accidently drivng into it one day? or on purpose.....
