I wish he would have told me what kind of paint he was using. I hate to go back and ask more questions and be a pain it the butt.
get rid of the flowerhorn? Or not, sorry you may not like them but he's by far the most active and coolest fish I have. Not happening. I want to use krylon fusion on the pond coat Ross.
Build a basic box, coat it with PC, let it cure fully, then paint it with the Krylon, and again let it fully cure. Then fill it with water, and let it sit for a couple weeks and see what happens. Better a few gallons leaking in a workshop than a few hundred gallons leaking in the house.
This is the true spirit of DIY. some times you just have to step outside the box and try what has never been done before. Then share your results. That way we learn from each other.

I would test krylon on something small to see if it works before committing this process to the entire tank. Paint something with PC, paint it with krylon, submerge it for a week or 2 and see what happens.
Spoke with permadri today and he spoke to what he referred to as "our chemist" Said that krylon fuzion will be find and won't affect the membrane of the product. He said to do a small test area first and go from there. Should be good to go
