You need at lesat a .38 special. .40s work too.
 
I got 2 and no regrets! they are so busy. the CB ones there aren't as nice as a good ol WC :p

ARs don't have big bullets, they just move a little faster. They're better at penetrating kevlar and whatnot. A bit overkill for a 1" thick fish.

All set with a 5.56 AR. Is a 30 round mag enough or should I go 50 rounds?

........or should I just pick up a .308Win?
