I overestimated how long I've had him and then went back and looked at my old posts to find out for sure. Can't edit the title. So, yeah, about 8.5 years old.

That is one big gas fish! 10yrs is quite a stretch.

I've heard 20+ years is not a stretch.

Yep, I have read up to 30yrs for their lifespan, but you don't see many older fish on the forums.

If you go back through my threads, you'll see it when I first got it and added it to a community tank with a bunch of adult Parachromis, including several breeding pair. I had that setup going for a LONG time.

Thet are one Parachromis I want to get but my wife won't let me. However I'm qorking on it we now have Red Tiger Motas,Freddies and jags so she is softening to my way of thinking.

He sold/gave him to someone with a larger tank. I think @mbunamarcus comes on here every once in a while?
