Tenting House.

If I'm not mistaken, they use ethylene dibromide to fumigate. This is nasty stuff, highly soluble in water and highly toxic to vertebrates. I would suggest that you get a large container and move your fish out of the house during fumigation. Replace all water in your tank before returning the fish.

They came today and told me i would have to get my house tented... They said their stuff doesnt claim to water or something. He told said to just run the filter outside and thats it. What does it have to do with the filter? I have to get a hold of them myself and go over everything. Wish i was at my place today so i was able to ask him a little more. Ill just rig up a rub for the CK. how much room for turning do they really need? his 18inch

Ya i need to get this over with. I have the tank ready to move them outside... but I have no idea when it going to happen. I have 2/300w heaters plus 2 back up 150w to keep them alive outside in CA for 3day

fyi

i had like 99% death with my tanks... not sure if it was the gas that did it or sealing the tank off.. .either way after 2 days there were 2 swordtails left half alive.. everything else was dead.. fish.. snails.. shrimp.. everything was dead.. all levels were through the roof and everything was molding and all sorts of not good...

so... yeah... take yer fish out.. but dont forget about the sun cooking them durring the day.. shoot for some shade

(all my important fish went to my work for the weekend.. everyone that i took with me is fine.. no loss at all... and they got themselves a new tank lastweek.. ive been lazy with it though... so far i did the piping for the sump and painted the stand... maybe ill have it cycling by next weekend)

Should i remove plants as well? How was your gravel?
