ternetzi is nattereri?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yeah there's no such thing as Pygocentrus ternetzi. Pygocentrus nattereri is the binomial nomenclature for that species, and the coloration and size is due to geographic variant morphology. They're just a separate breeding group that got isolated from other RBP's and the color of life variation is the result.

well if a scientist and biologist with a total of 60+ years in thier respective fields can use the term I see no reason I can't.lol

It looks to me like thats an albino red? and because there eyes are naturaly red the loss of pigments make em clear? Interesting never seen one white like that lol terns are more greyish with yellow bellys (some)

wtf???? get a clue. that is just a stressed P the color washes out of them at night or when they are stressed. not all reds have really red eyes. read the opefe post cited by trigga and you will have your answer.

pdsmith no m8 its a tern.
yellow colouration not washed out red.
imo it should have its own classification, have they done a mitocondrial dna test on em yet?
diff colour, diff area, diff size, diff breeding habits = NOT NATTERERI imo
