a morphed axol looks like a tiger salamander, but they retain their pattern/color. Im not in contact with who gave a home to my lil girl. Elise, I would love to see pictures of yours. I would be interested to see more cases of morphing, so little is known about it most info is mere speculation. Since yours is doing well, I assume it was probably a natural occurance. Forcing a morph is extremely dangerous and stressful, and I have yet to find a case where a forced morph didnt die within a year

This was the seller's picture of her. She has grown a lot since then, but I haven't taken any recent pictures - too afraid of harming her eyes with the flash.

thats an interesting pattern for an axol, havnt seen one quite like it. With their poor eyesight, I cant imagine they enjoy the bright flashes, mine certainly didnt appreciate my multiple attempts to get the original photo
