Territorial Dispute

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Can you stick your hand in there and flick him in the head, and make a video if it :naughty:

Seriously though, that's a beast! Very nice.
Haha I got a feeling he would get the best of it.
Glad you like him though! :grinno:

Anything that even attempts to mess with my most prized fishes are quickly giving away:D.
Most people would get rid of the Convict in an instant.
I think they go good together, anybody who sees never understands how they get along in same tank.
He reestablishing his territory, he is not one to go chase nipping fins.

I doubt that convict could do anything anyway. he din't even make a scratch in the big guy and that was a good shot. I think he is ok and the big guy will handle him if push comes to shove.
All he asks for is a little corner of tank with his terracotta.
Midas learn to respect him for it but needs a reminder when overstays welcome.

Yep, as the owners we don't notice as much. I have to go back to Videos to see how much larger Jr has gotten over the past year. 2 More years and I can guarentee he will be 14"+ at the rate he is going. Over 11" now.
Jr was a monster from the beginning.
No, I guarantee YOU 14"+ at the rate he is going.
I have also been itching to get mine out the tank and get an official length.
When I do I try to get a picture.

I like the video, love the shot in the ass the Con gave him, he didn't even notice it. Like a tractor trailer running over a Yugo! Great tude on your guy, mine would chase you all the way to the kitchen if the tank was long enough. You've done a great job with him.

I have the same situation in my tank, though my fish aren't as big. Male midas with a male convict. Similar relationship, too.
