terror with rd

At some point the red devil is gonna pound that red terror. They grow alot faster so it wouldn't be long before the devil dominates the whole tank.

yes it will work get them both at the same size and they will fight but they seam to have equal aggresion levels and strength .my rt is a warrior he is the smallest in my 125 cichlid community tank he picks fights he cant win constantly hits and runs on his tank mates.the rt is 1 of my favorites he stays beat up and ugly i think he likes it that way and i like to watch him live like this the battle never stops but i have not had a fatality in14 months he takes the fight to the max and retrets.IMO i wuold keep the butti in a year the rd and rt will be about the size of butti now then get a 125 and put them all together lol

Both fish at adult size would not work in a small 75gallon. And also your buttikoferi will get way too big for a 75 alone.

hey would a red terror go in a 75 gallon with a rd.they seem like excelent fish.I love large red cichlids.can someone tell me about these fish.

i never seen a red terror up close and i wish i could get a pair. i have large jack dempseys and wanted a pair of green terrors but i would love a pair of red terrors. as long as your other fish are around the same size they can fend for themselves.

that buttokeferi is a tilapia fish and u can filet and pan fry it. delicous

i want a pair of red terrors. i live i chinatown nyc and there is quite a few aquarium shops in my neighborhood but they never have red terrors only green ones. please help me

it'll work for a while, but if everything goes as it "should" the red terror would end up bashin or even killin ur RD, it's strange tho i bought a 6 inch red terror and in the end my jag killed it but mouthing with it to much and ripping it's jaw apart the jag was a lil larger to..so give it a go but be weary :thumsup:

A true red terror ( festae ) would destroy a red devil true red terror males reach upto 22 to 24inch very very aggressive too i have a 10 inch male wild caught festae and he has killed everything he was housed with including jaguar cichlid a flowerhorn and a midas
