ok i just bought a test kit and i want to know what the nitrate and the other fun stuff is label as...if i remember nitrate has to be zero? this is testing my water in tank cause pbass are acting weird

Are you trying to figure out what the water paramaters are supposed to be?

Ph is supposed to be about 7.4 (Depends on the fish though)
Nitrite and ammonia are both supposed to be at 0
Nitrate are supposed to be at between 10-40ppm

Temp depends on the fish.

Hopefully that helped, but I don't really know what you were trying to ask.

You can just dismiss the whole PH thing unless you're really picky about it. As long as your PH is constant it shouldn't be a problem for the fish.

if you are doing water changes on a regular basis the only thing you should have to be worrying about is Amonia and nitrite witch should always be 0

guess all mine kinda fall into that, as these are peacock bass...guess they are still stress from the trip...cause everytime i enter the room they swim around like crazy like they are scared...i was wondering if thats causing them to not swim around instead sit on the bottom or be hiding...but been 5days now and they still stress i guess
