I got 3 of them and all at 8"+. None of my other fish will mess around with them as they got sharp pointy spines and tge scales are rough. They are bigger than my palm.

They grow very slow. Also they came in at that size. I used to have a CB and it took 5 years to get to 7" from a small 2"

I had one that I bought at 3" and it took only a few months to get it to 5", I had to get rid of it cause it was terrorizing my NGT.

Yep they grow fast to that size and slow down at 6". That's probably u haven't seen pass 6" yet.

How did you have him/her for my three are 12inch now hopefully they will hit the 20inch mark in years time, do you think its possible?
