right...not really testing H2O like you would think but just trying to see if any member here will be interested in my black diamond as I am considering selling it to free up a tank for caribes when they become available. I do want him to go to a good home so if you can also let me know what kind of tank you'll have available for him that would be good. he is currently in a 75g and I'd hate to see him end up in anything smaller than a 55g. If I cannot find a good home for him I'll just keep him and say hell with caribes....for now :D. (I just realized that I'm starting to get more and more attach to him now that I'm trying to sell him....human emotion is a weird thing:screwy:)

I've been feeding him mostly shrimp, squid and fish, but he also catches himself some convicts and some oscars (not anymore) every now and then.

enough said, I'll let the pics do the talking. let me know if you are interested, local pick up would be best.

here are some videos of him so you can to see him in action.

see man I did the same damn thing the other day... I know exactly what you're talking about.

Now I could understand what made you change your mind even more now. lol

I say go for it, since you already have a rhom.

the one think I have never considered getting rid of was my group of pygos

So...anyone out there that wants to provide a good home to this fellow?
PM me if you are interested.

nah I'm keeping him I like him a lot, and lacking an alternative like a piranha expert with an enormous tank for one solo comp, then I'm gonna keep him til he dies. We're planning on moving in a couple months and when that happens I'll get another tank (got my eye on a 240 long 96 x 24 x 25 Tall) and do a shoal of caribe or geryis. If I hang on to my guy for a few months I can enjoy him and a shoal at the same time. It's just hard being patient, especially when your only tank is a serra tank. Serras are fascinating and I'm more than a little obsessed, but even an active serra is less active than a tank with another type of fish like cichlids or something.
