UPDATE - Ive been waiting until I'm fully moved into my new place before getting this.
I went to go check on it today& it was gone. The store finally sold it.
I asked the owner to get me another one, but from what I've seen on Google images, the one who just sold was the hairiest alive, lol

I wonder if you could have put a deposit on it or paid for it in full? Too bad you didn't at least take a pic for us!
 
Yeah I kinda took it for granted& thought he'd still be there. But, I also thought I'd be in the new place by now.

Pictures wouldn't have worked, I tried. He was always moving& real active.

Every time I was up there he was swimming all over his tank.
(I'm less than a mile away& up there a min of 3times a week

^ Sucks to hear you missed out then... thats one of the main reasons i bought my old Congo... over 2 trips out to the LFS he was the only congo out of about 10 that would come right up to the glass and be waving away frantically asking me to take him home (which i did on the 2nd trip)...

After which i must say couldn't have been happier, especially considering he would actually come out of the sand to greet me... definitely my most favorite puffer of all time...

Oh well, i guess better luck next time... hopefully you will be able to find another equally hairy one with an active personality...
 
UPDATE: The store owner text me a couple days ago to tell me they had another one in.
It is now in my bare bottom 55.
