Tetraodon miurus (Congo Puffer) with Bichirs ?

Anyone tried such a combination before ?
I'm afraid the puffer would tear up my bichirs.

T. miurus are ambush predators with the ability of inflicting severe damage to any fish swimming over them while hiding in the substrate. Bottom fish, such as polys, are particularly vulnerable to attacks from the puffer.

Polys arnt very good at avoiding landing on things, I could see it going wrong fast. The only saving grace a poly might have is if it's 20"+?

what if its like in a tank with a pile of bichirs without substrate ?

i understand congo puffers need at least a 2 inch sand bed in order to survive

against all odds do not mix polys with puffers. my friend learned it the hard way
