Always great information on puffers there.

I had one for a few months that I saved from a LFS, before I sold him.

Gorgeous fish. Mine loved to hide and a dig a little.

Not a super active fish, until feeding time.

Thanks, i joined the puffer forum when i got my mbu. I've asked them as well. I've got a spare 48"x18" do you reckon i could have 1 in there.

That is a great size tank, if its extra and you dont mind only having a single fish in there.

I had one for years. Coolest puffer ever in my book. When i first got him he was maybe three inches not to big. He would only eat feeders at first, and he would actually not eat for the first few days. Eventually i got him on frozen mussels, shrip, krill and pretty much everything else.

I traded one in last week for a Fahaka.
Nice fish but very shy. I had him for several months & couldn't get him used to me at all.
I hardly saw him & had real difficulty feeding him.

Cool fish though - good luck with it if you get one.

Yeah, they are pretty much cave-dwelling lumps. Handsome fish though!
