Let me know if you have any success in moke growth, mine is like a snail. I think they are just not big eaters like their poly cousins, and not as active as many upperjaw sp. lol I feed sinking carnivore and blood worms, mine is 3-4'' still and grew about a half inch. but has but on some girth since he came in the mail. I've had him a since sept-early october I think.

Just added this guy today..I think I am getting overstocked once these guys get full size good thing I am over filtered on all my tanks.

Africanman a vendor on here can get them in sometimes. I emailed him even though his stock was out to see if he could get one in for me. He checked and had a couple in stock and I picked one up off him.

Send him an actual email he gets them on his phone and is pretty quick to reply. I don't know how often he goes on mfk..they are pretty pricey, but where else can you buy them. lol not the lfs.

yeah, most rare bichirs in the trade are expensive, but I'm working on getting one of each species (slowly, lol). He's replied quickly enough through PM, i've just never caught it at the right time.
