Texas aggression

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Either Texas will not likely ever compare to the aggression of a Amphilophus, in a rare occurance any fish can claim top dog, but the territorial nature of Midas/Rd's/Amarillo/Trimacs etc is just to overwhelming for the average fish.

I find Texas among the most bullish of all.

In my experience, that is...

Texas of either type are deadly to their own..males will kill females if somthing goes wrong in their fry care and its not caught and addressed.Thats my experience.

I have had a few and currently have a couple texas cichilds, I have never had much luck housing them with other fish, Always end up seperating
