I picked up 8 texas/red devil frys from a friend and I am really fortunate that one has faded to a Red Texas with lots of pearls. The others were red but only had pearls on their fins.
My rt is already 8" after 7 months and continues to get richer in color

Looking good. The pearling seems to take a little longer to develop than it would on reg texas. The bigger one is looking nice.

Wow, it seems that anytime any species breeds with a BP, it seems that the BP 'look' always dominates. But yours look like the TX dominated, that's freaken awesome.. makes for a very unique and beautiful looking fish.. !
