if you go with the a versicolor just do your research and dont cut corners.Did you find a place to buy from yet?

i have been talking to gordon and i think he is going to hook me up. what areas are you suggesting not cutting corners on?
i have read that they are fairly delicate and are know to die if their habitat requirements are not met properly

yeah mainly I hear they have a high death rate as slings. Its just one of those things if you go out of town or something to make sure it will stay the right humidity while your gone and stuff like that.Im not sure how sensetive they really are so Gordon and those guys should know more,Ive got a avic, not versi, but I know even my avic seemed sick once when I neglected the moisture needs one time. Its a little tricky getting high humidity and good ventalation at the same time. All Im sayin is its not as bullet proof as others,I hope it works out, cant wait to see pics.Good luck.Im looking forward to one of those one day too.

well he didnt get me an versi but he has a b. emilia coming in for me. i am still excited and if i like Ts then i will probably go ahead and order a versicolor soon :) i will probably go ahead and make an arborial set up after i get one set up for the emilia. i love doing that kind of stuff :)

Just a little tip, with the Brachys, they flick hairs like machine guns,if you are down close to it with your face always be ready for it to flick its hairs and dont breath in at the same time, lol. They dont go very far but my t blondie caught me off guard once and it was all over my face and arms, felt like I was sleeping in fiber glass, but goliaths got the worst I think.

wow thx, lots of info!!

There is a guy named Russ Gurley I think that's how his last name is spelled. He has written a few books on T browns and knows quite abit bout them. I've had a couple I've caught in my back yard but from what I've seen snake hunting in west Texas they are all over the state not sure what the scientific name of them is but I've seen them in the mountains in west texas all the way to the east texas pines and caught a few in the Dallas area.
