Recently i had a female texas and a large male pink convict pair up and now have around 40 fry. I have always moved my convict fry when they started free swimming, im wondering if i should treat these fish the same or if there is any difference and also if any happens to know if these hybrid ofspring are able to reproduce.
Thanks

Yeah I would treat them as the same. Males are infertile as far as I know but females will probably be fertile. Con x texas are pretty fugly as hybrids go IMO.

One of my community tanks a female pink con and FM had babies when no one was looking , they shared the tank with a BP and a Escondido we recently moved as many fry as possible , they were good parents only some of my larger con hybrid from another batch ate a few and that was when I was messing with the parents. if they are good parents , you should be able to leave them for awhile , move them if you need to isolate. There is four still in there I couldn't get waiting until bigger to catch.
