Very beautiful fish, yours is specially nice!
I just really hate them for how they are aggressive. They bite the eyes when they nip. I left mine in an LFS in a tank of 20+ 7-12" midevils. You know the rest.

Thanks.... I've been trying to catch him in a pose like that... He stopped moving long enough for me to take the shot.. Makes me appreciate the real photographers who post and get their fish in nice shots.."

Doesn't look like a Texas tho. Looks like a Green Texas. Lahilla to be exact.

Thanks.... I did not want to ask that familiar question..... But as time went on he didn't seem to be what I thought he was....(cyano)
I bought my first carpinte from the same store I got this from almost 20 years ago... This one seemed different ..... I did want to see what more knowledgeable keepers might say..well he is a definitely a male... Spawned twice with a female that I had..... But unfortunately he is also a killer...
