Reatak, don't take things the wrong way, I wasn't yelling or trying to make you feel bad, I just wanted to make it very clear that it is NOT ok to just go to a body of water and take fish, unless you know the regulations. I fish a lot, and I see people breaking the rules all the time, its something that really sets me off. You seem like a very smart young man, and I feel that you will learn a lot from this forum. Everyone has had poorly stocked tanks, but as long as you are willing to listen and learn, you will succeed in fishkeeping. Sometimes people on here (myself included) can be a little blunt with how we word things, but it is because we hate to see fish kept in sub-par conditions, and we see many of the same mistakes over and over again. As you can imagine, it gets frustrating at times.
Does any one have experience with these fish? I'm very exited I was talking with my boss over how much money I will make it's going to be about $480 will that be the minimum needed to set up a 125gal? fisher12889;4082426; said:First off, netting game fish is illegal pretty much everywhere. You might want to check your regulations before you decide to go poaching your local lakes. Secondly, none of your tanks are even close to being big enough for a largemouth or even one Texas cichlid. A Texas alone can make a 75 gallon look smallish, and largemouths need something in the 6x2 to 8x2 range AT LEAST.
