carpintes I believe not escondido

An Escondido is a Carpintis, just a variant of it HAirdog, you even acknowledged that in this thread:

Dominator, go to the above thread for an explanation of the variants and the difference between a texas and a carpintis.

i know, Escondido is better than a regular carpintis, because this carpintis' spot looks smaller, so i wonder is its Escondido. I guess not.

well, there are 3 variants of carpintis...escondido, lahillas and chariel. they are all beautiful with blue spots, only difference being the size of the spots and the exact color. Im partial to the lahillas because I like the black and blue on them. The escondido is more of a greenish blue and the chariel has more gold in it.

here was my lahillas in November 08 at 4.5 inches in the middle pic and now at about 8-9 inches in the other pics. The flash makes her look gold-ish in the first pic but shes not. Shes royal blue and black.

Yours possibly looks like a lahillas, which is actually either a new variant or a rare one, I believe. I havent seen anyone else on here with one, or at least anyone saying they have one or much info online about it.

escondido is a carpintis. there is no fish called a "regular" carpintis. Unless you choose to not acknowledge the regional variants of carpintis and lump them all together, which isnt helpful in answering his question. duh.
