Texas Cichlid Tank Size???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I wouldnt go less than a 80 but more likely a 125 would be better obviouslly a 300 would be even better but i mean reality has to set in somewhere

texas like alot of cichlids get a lil testy when jammed in to jelly jars, no to mention the bigger body of water the longer it takes to foul, like being stuck in a smart car with a 300lb fat guy farting, would be less nasty in a cadillac... all im saying

Texas as in true Texas? H.Cyanogutatus?
110 / 60x18 footprint. 125 would be better

Texas (H. cyanoguttatum/tatus) needs at least 110g. They grow to about 30cm in length.

If you're asking about the green texas (H. carpintis) then they can go much lower, prolly around 75g. They only grow to about 20cm in length.
