  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I doubt its stunted in a 55g. That's a very up close picture as well. Almost to the glass.

That doesn't really mean a thing depending on where you got it from It still could be stunted. I had two in a 95 that were stunted and trying to breed

Well it has gotten larger since I bought it. All of my fish have been from there and I've not had any issues thus far. But I'm no expert

Its definitely larger than 1.5" but it does look stunted. Looks about 2.5" and in its breeding dress.

Here's a pic of a 1" texas hybrid

I had had this in the past. My Texas had bred with my flowerhorn. Awesome looking result but I had to sell them all. Since there are only 3 fish in there I would be a little concerned for the Geo. The Texas may get very defensive in protecting his mate. They may lay eggs but I think that it wouldn't work out knowing the genetic make up of parrot fish. The only way to get him to cut his **** out is to remove one or the other if possible. You can always try to fool the fish. Possibly on your next cleaning take everyone out and place in separate containers. Re arrange the tank and hopefully the Texas will think it's a new environment and new friends.
