First, yes it is a red texas and a good looking fish. To end up like the one posted it would have to fade and that's not guaranteed by any means. Also, that red texas posted is a little dressed up with some photoshop. A fish like that is pretty rare. If you found a fish just like that, it would go for a little more than $150 on aquabid. If you want to learn more about red texas, then hop over to the hybrid section or do a search.
Yeah, it's a Red Texas which does makes it a hybird but it's a good looking fish. Enjoy, it will grow into a real looker. Post in the hybird section and you'll get more feedback/info.
