texas cichlids are great, research the varieties, but they breed easy, great color, not hard to keep.how big of a tank do you have? dovii really need 180 and up tank size

what exactly are you asking? im experianced in these fish But idk what you wanna know

There was not a plan of other fish I was just looking for info on doviis and Texas Wanted input on the two fish and who would prefer which? And why? I don't have any experience with either of these fish and like the look of both but only have one open tank the dovii is the one I was asking if it would fit in the tank not sure on a max size for it. Any other input would be great
Sorry for the confusion

Honestly if you plan to upgrade in the future i would get a single male dovii . They make great wet pets they are very intelligent and unique personality. They will need at least 180 in the future but it takes them a while to grow to massive size so you would have awhile in that tank before upgrade. Another possiblity if you like the dovii but dont want to upgrade check out the grammodes (mini dovii) they get like 12" and i think you might be able to do a pair in that tank.
