So WHAT if it's stressed? Does it mean that if it's not stressed its markings will enlarge and make it a Carpinte? A stressed Carpinte or Cyanoguttatus or any other fish for that matter, does NOT shrink its markings. I doubt I'm the one embarrassing myself (take note of spelling). I honestly, genuinely disagree with the above. In the event that I'm wrong, will someone enlighten me? In what way does a stressed fish alter the inherent size of its markings? I have seen for myself the so-called "stress bars" on cichlids, but I have never seen larger or smaller markings on stressed or unstressed fish.Marc280106;2583970; said:Yes, a fishes marking's will become more defined in stress free condition's.
