Texas/Jag and Jag combo

These two had been showing signs of breeding for a few weeks now, came home last night to discover at least 500 eggs laid on a rock. I'll find out over the next few days if the eggs are viable. Anyone want to guess what the offspring would look like?

If they are viable, they will most likely become feeders for my RD

interesting. i would have to say. they will look a bit Jag-ish. the pearls might stick tho. and they may not. would be interesting to grow a couple out and see.

I have a 1.5" jagxtexas that I got for $3 can't wait to see what he turns out to look like. Hes already killed a 2" texas.. that bastard

I believe they will look alot like these ones. They're about a year old now.

I was hoping mine would color out as they got older but it looks like mine has more color as a baby than your does as a adult. Did you hatch these yourself or did you get them from somewhere?

I bread them myself. They're still under a year old. The colours are different for every tank I have them in. Most are really pale because of the white gravel I have in their tank.
But others are much different in other tanks. The colours will come out eventually.
