Texas/Jag and Jag combo

I to have a texas/jag mix.

These two had been showing signs of breeding for a few weeks now, came home last night to discover at least 500 eggs laid on a rock. I'll find out over the next few days if the eggs are viable. Anyone want to guess what the offspring would look like?

If they are viable, they will most likely become feeders for my RD

Hey, I actually got the female tex/jag in the picture from you! I came over with Cy.

It's going on day 3, and 50% of the eggs are white. It's not looking good at this point, but i'll keep you all posted.

I believe they will look alot like these ones. They're about a year old now.

Update: I've got wigglers! Only a dozen or so now, but it's a start!

Oh yeah, she runs everything down except for my male jag (for obvious reasons, lol). I plan on growing a handful of the guys out just to see what they are going to look like.

Well, neither of these are going to happen...They ate the wigglers yesterday. Hopefully they will get it right next time around.

Update: They laid another large batch of eggs today, but I had to discard them as the couple were destroying their tankmates.

I'm going to pick up either a 40g breeder, or a large rubbermaid container for the pair. I'd love to see what a Jag x Texas/Jag would look like. I'll keep you posted...
