I've got a spare 20 gallon tank (long), a juvenile green terror, and some miscellaneous small pieces of driftwood, if anyone in the Dallas area is interested.

A trade possibly?
 
San Antonio sounds good to me. I'm thinking the first weekend of June, that being the 3rd and 4th I think. I'm in Lubbock, so anybody who needs a ride give me a shout. Just remember to pack light....gotta have room for the fish on the way back.
 
Need someone to take my CK. He is 18" and getting picked on by his tankmates. His head was recently inhaled into a pbass mouth. He is healing fine and in perfect condition other than the recent lil scarring. He is on sinking pellets and takes them with ease. Of course, he is free to good home.

UPDATE...If we can figure out dates, I have an LFS that will sort of "host" it for us. He has pretty good connections on fish, and not extremely pricey either. So if we can decide a date...and present a fish want list...this guy can probably make it happen. He got my 12" htf black arow for $150...one day after I asked him for one.
 
i vote june third and fourth in san antonio.

probably wont buy fish myself unless hes got an ornate or an endli.
or a large fire eel
 
June 3rd and 4th. If there's a LFS in San Antonio that will host us great. I'm going to pick up my new ride tomorrow (I hope). Let's see what we can do about hotel rooms and a place we can all do dinner together. Also if someone can contact a Mod and see about getting some MFK stickers or flyers or something we can take with us so we can spread the word that'd be awesome. I'd do it, but unfortunately my time has been rather limited. I'm an insurance agent and it's hail season....keep me in your thought s and prayers.
 
the plaza in san antopnio is a great hotel. kinda pricey but really nice.
there are some nice ramadas kinda on the outskirt of town.

resturaunts
county line
other fine steak houses.
mexican food.
seafood.
depends on what you guys feel like.

I will see what Neo can do for us. It really depends on the amount of participation. Hopefully, we can get enough to warrant decals or something "MFK". It would be cool if we can get MFK shirts to wear while we tour the local LFS's and attractions. There are cheaper hotels in the area though. If you have never been to the riverwalk, you got to see it. Pretty cool place! So far, several people are down with the riverwalk. I do have some extra space at my place for people to crash, if the need is there.
