Texas or not?

Hello,

I would like to ask for your help in identifying my Texas cichlids, because I have my doubts wether they are Texas or some other obscure species. I think they're around one year old and the male is approximately 6-7 inches.

If they are Texas, does anyone know what type of Texas they are?

Not a Texas. It's a Convict crossed with something else, maybe even crossed with a Tex. I like the pattern on them.

We have had Convicts before, but these certainly look different. They do have the striping in common, but the fins have a red/blue pattern on them, which some Texas species have. Also, the belly of a female Convict has a different colour than the rest of her body. Our female doesn't have a coloured belly.
