the ten gallon tank I have is for the ebjd that is about 1 inches,what I am going to do with the ebjd then?Apparently the family member,wont give me the 29 gallon tank,even though she isn't using it for ANYTHING.Only idea I can do is just put up a divider,give him 2ft to himself,light is off right now,going to grab neosporin when I am done filling up the fish tank,I did a 50% water change in the 125 gallon.Also the Green Terror is gone completely,so I don't have to worry about that.
Texas seems to be getting worse,not sure what is wrong.

Well I applied the neosporin as quick as possible,so hopefully it will work,I am just a bit worried he hasn't eaten all day.
Maybe a bit premature to put neosporin on since it's still a big open wound but oh well, it's done. Now try to keep him as stress free as possible. Since you don't have a hospital tank, section him off with the divider, give him a place to hide and bother him as little as possible. Kind of like after someone has surgeory, they need lots of rest to heal. Remember to keep the water very clean, lol and do your water changes on the other end of the tank.
I wasn't too sure,when to put the neosporin on,will it still not work then?I have the light turned off on his side,he has 2ft to himself in the 125 gallon tank with a egg crate divider,even though the smaller fishes can fit through,but they come and go,he has a flower pot that he can go into if he likes.
All you can do now is wait it out and let him heal. He seems like a tough fish. I had a Jag give a similar looking wound to a Trimac and it died a couple of days later.
So my Texas has a slim chance?My main concern is him eating and surviving,but I believe they can survive more than a week with out food.
yeah i wouldnt worry too much about food right now, at his size he can go a little while without food and be fine, and you also dont want to be feeding to much right now anyways to keep the water cleaner, but GOOD LUCK, i would say its a slim chance but possible, as long as you keep the others from picking at him and it doesnt get infected
The divider is up,he is being a little more active now,neosporin was put on yesterday,I gave him some pieces of krill,if he decided he wanted to eat,which it seems at night time,the two I had in there were missing.
