hi, i was wondering if the texas cichlid is hard to care for? are they just like oscars?

As long as you give the Texas plenty of room, A well balenced diet and keep the water quality high with regular partial water changes you wont go far wrong.

Iv had Texas Cichlids in the past, tryed keeping them a few times but can never get them eating anything apart from bloodworm, all my texas Cic ended up dead in about [at the most] 2months.

thats a carpintis i'm thinking of getting a texas not sure these guys love plants but not as decoration feed plenty of plant matter and keep the water clean and there an eazy fish to keep

we got some blues over here atm.
