What point are you trying to make?
Did you order a Scobina and it didn't come in as it?
I'm about ready to recomend that we force Vendors to show us a valid business licence and a photo of their store front to weed out posers
I have ordered from TFD many times and things have been great.
MFK is not Customer relations for any of the Vendors so if you don't recieve the answer from a Vendor that you like SUE THEM instead of whining about it.

Second of all I have been doing rays for 17+ years, but do not pretend to know all species of rays, there are too many varients and morphs in the Amazon river systems. Third, Mike Joe told you no because he wont sell to you. He said the first thing that came out of his mouth.
I am glad you did not get those leos, they are still here with me doing great and groing very fast.
On the scobina, scobina do not just come from Brazil, they are also found in Peru / Columbia / Argintina etc. If you really do some research you will se what I am talking about here. There MANY for ( varients ) of scobina. We get in some labled scobina and look like scobina varients. The 2 rays to Craig ( cjfrontlover) Were indded a varient imo. I took care of him because he was not happy, I wanted a happy customer. Thats what we do here.
He was not able to ship the rays back so we took another road.
I have seen at least 15 different varients of scobina and not all have 3 rows of spines down the tail. So this is false. Do some research please.
Just becasue I have 17 years experience with rays does not mean I have seen every ray out there, NO ONE HAS !.
Just had 11 pups from ONE litter last night largest litter I have ever heard of, still does not make me any better of a ray breeder.

clearly darin see's these as a variant of scobina..obviouslt not what i expected but being new to rays jumped at the opportunity to get scobina..as darin says, he tried to make it right by sending other fish..i guess my own nieveity (sp?) in the ray world caused me grief and am chalking it up to experience..i've had much worse dealings in my fish hobby..
you didn't ask for a pic! i'm not sure about the different variants, but if i SAW a stingray i liked i would buy it, i know what kind of scorbina i want.
ANYONE ELSE WHO LIVES IN MY AREA WHO WANTS TO BUY A RAY HAS A HARD TIME THE PRICES ARE TO HIGH AND QUALITY IS LOW . SO YOU TRY TO DEAL WITH A QUALITY VENDOR AND YOU CANT. I KNOW SOME PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR RAYS FOR MONTHS IT IS FRUSTRATING
